Bombing Threats At My School!

This morning just before lunch the principal announced on the PA system that the power had gone out in the school hallways and all students were to remain in class (no hall passes). I was in the school library at the time and we were pretty surprised when a COP came in and started searching the room. Finally 5 minutes into the lunch break, we were allowed to exit the room and go for lunch. We came back for lunch and mid afternoon the Principal came into the room and told us that the real reason we weren't allowed in the halls was that someone had wrote on wall in the girls bathroom that they were going to bomb the school on November 20th. Kinda weird because I was talking to my friends a lunch and I suggested that it may have been a threat on the bathroom wall. (This has been happening lots in Canada since September so the police were pretty sure it was just a "Copy cat" offense).

Curling

I've just started curling (my second game was today).

So far I'm liking it, the people on my team are quite easy to get along with.

Though today I fell twice, once on my back and then another time I hit my knees on the side board. I'm going to be sore for the next few days. Hopefully I'll be back to normal for my game next week.

Mario Kart GP 2

I went to Tenpin Bowling with college at 2:30 and I was 2nd on the 1st game and 4th on the 2nd game we played untill 3.00 and then I played on Mario Kart GP 2 and it was good I came 1st 2 times and got a New Recoad 2 times and then I went home I got home at 4:00 becuse of the Bus.

My first week back at school

After a boring last week of summer holidays I was nearly eager to begin school again as this year I'm starting my first year of high school but I am still in the same building as last year. One of the reasons I was ready to come back was the idea of starting a few new courses that are not offered until the grade I'm in. I'm now taking courses in 3D animation, Media Exploration and Video production besides the standard courses, though I'm eager to begin the video production class as it is the only coarse in the school that is taught on Macs and thats the OS I'm most familiar with.

I went to Didsbury at 7:30 for tea at Nandoes and we can sit down untell 8:30 so we booked it and then we went to the Arcade what was there and I played on Mario Kart GP and it was good I came 1st and got a New Recoad and then it was time to eat and the Chicken was nice but it was spicey and then we went home

Hello I am Michael christopher John Metroid(Not my real name(really?). I enjoy computer games,pron(sp?),nintendo games, more pron(sp?).. I kid I kid.(please don't kill me)

There are some days that make me feel like suffocating myself with a ham sandwich but that's life.

I play synthesizer(Bet you can't say it five times fast) in a band.......a good band......I swear. Don't look at me like that.

I would just like to say happy birthday to the site because it's been one year and I joined neaqr the start which makes me cool(Does it?)

Nintenreport Turns One

Nintenreport, as you probably know, is now one year old, since then I've re-designed the site twice and have done countless updates. At first it seemed that no body would use the site but after a while a few people, who are now some of the most respected forum members found the site. I would like to dedicate the Nintenreport Blog, to those who have been there nearly from the beginning and those who will find the site over years to come and not just join our community but contribute to it the way anybody who reads this probably has already.

Cj 07 (Emasher's point of view)

Cj stands for Canadian Jamboree, Cj 07 was the centennial scouting jamboree in Canada.

I arrived at Montreal airport last tuesday in the early afternoon, my scout group was picked up from there by an old leader who was living in my city for a few years to attend university, for the rest of the day after we dropped off our bags at a hotel we toured Montreal. I can remember seeing The main convention center, China town, the Just For Laughs stage, the St. Peters basilica 1/2 scale model, and many more other things i can't remember at the moment, after riding the metro back we left again and hiked Mount Royal at 1 AM.
The next day we were woken up quite early and after breakfast we returned to the airport to catch the bus to Camp Tameracouta, the venue of Cj 07. During the Next week we did activities such as building rafts, swimming, simulation CSI, Geocaching and archery.
In the evenings we went to a special are and traded badges and pins to try and get rare ones. There were a certain set of badges called contingent badges that had a different badge for each province (Ontario had 7 or 8 though), I managed to get all of them but Newfoundland and Nunavut.
The most blog worthy part of my trip however was probably the final 2 days.We were awoken at 5am for a sunrise ceremony. My group broke camp and then we went to watch the closing ceremonies (they had the best fire works i had ever seen). After that (11 pm) we took out our sleeping bags and slept until 12:45 am. Then we sat at the Bus stop for an hour until 2 am when we boarded the but and left for the montreal airport. We arrived there at 3 am and waited a few hours before we checked in our luggage for our 10:30 flight. That was when we learned our flight had been canceled for maintenance. We proceeded through central screening as we were to meet a West Jet representative through there to try and get on a later flight. Unfortunately, the 2:00 flight was full so we had to wait for the 5:30 one. We re-checked out luggage and went back past screening. I purchased a copy of the latest Mac World magazine to help me survive the wait. After 9 hours in the Montreal airport we finally boarded out first plane. We had to change planes in Toronto and then we finally boarded the plane that would take us home (we had seat back TVs). And to top it all of, THEY LOST MY LUGGAGE! It wasn't just mine either, Mr T Man's was also lost. I did manage to get it this morning though.
All in all it was a great trip.
